At least two years of recent experience in electronic systems maintenance or a relevant diploma. Must meet language requirements. Understanding of electronic systems, mechanical principles, and safety practices. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging environments. Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, and diagnostic tools. Job Description
The Electronics Specialist is responsible for maintaining electronic postal equipment, including troubleshooting, testing, repair, and monitoring of electronic and electromechanical systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic and electro-mechanical postal equipment, including testing, diagnosis, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and repair.
- Read schematics and wiring diagrams to locate malfunctions and failures.
- Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and investigate serious equipment failures.
- Manage work orders, estimate time and materials, and ensure safety practices are followed.
- Maintain documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management system.
- Use various tools, gauges, and test equipment for maintenance activities.
- Support inventory management and participate in training programs.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
