Overview:

Our client is looking for a Senior Associate Data Engineer to be part of our team

of top-notch technologists. You will lead and deliver technical solutions on GCP and using the roster of GCP services for large-scale digital transformation projects. You will be instrumental in helping our clients evolve for a more digital future.

Your Impact

Combine your technical expertise and problem-solving passion to work closely with client, turning complex ideas into end-to-end solutions that transform clients’ business
Translate clients’ requirements to system design and develop a solution that delivers business value
Lead, design, develop and deliver large-scale applications, data systems, data processing and data transformation projects
Conduct technical feasibility assessments and provide project estimates for the design and development of the solution
Mention, help and grow junior team members

Your Skills & Experience:

Strong Google Cloud experience. Dataflow and Big Query is essential, and knowledge of various GCP services with access to their own GCP project to test out scenarios. , how to write from BQ to Hive, Streaming data etc.
Candidate with strong core engineering skills with AWS will work too
While the team primarily uses GCP, understanding of cloud concepts in general is crucial, as they believe these skills are transferable across platforms
Experience with GCP native solutions like BQ, Dataflow, airflow, cloud functions
Should be capable of contributing significantly to system design discussions, potentially involving API, messaging systems like Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
