Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this Data Analyst position at a leading HVAC wholesaler located in Laval :
In charge of our applications and BI tool with data warehouses for our Canadian operations :
User support and incident management
Configuration and development
Updates and version upgrades
Security and access management
Deployments
Coordination of activities to ensure data validity and integrity
Coordination of technical support with the IT team in France and software vendors
Responsible for the technical component within our Project Team for the implementation of new applications and data warehouses in the Canadian scope :
Writing user stories in collaboration with the Functional Project Manager
Identifying and documenting data sources
SQL and Power Query querying
ETL design : extraction, transformation, and data loading
Designing and populating data warehouses
Documenting data structures and business rules used in their integration
Supporting user adoption and facilitating the transition to new processes and tools
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this Data Analyst position at a leading HVAC wholesaler located in Laval :
Education / Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
You have acquired a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
You are fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
Required technical skills : You have strong knowledge in several of the following areas :
Expertise in database analysis : structure, relationships / joins, data types.
Data collection from various sources : local or hosted (API).
Business Intelligence – ETL : Modeling, creation of data warehouses.
SQL Server : Queries, Views, Triggers, Transact-SQL.
Microsoft SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel : Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot.
An asset : knowledge of Powershell.
