Part-Time Family Assistant / After-School Nanny — Elora We’re looking for a warm, reliable and proactive person to help our family approximately 15–20 hours per week across 3 weekdays. We have two kids, ages 5 and 7, plus a large, goofy and very friendly Bernedoodle. The schedule may include a mix of early mornings (around 6:30–9:00 a.m.) and/or afternoons (around 1:30–7:00 p.m.). We’re flexible on the exact schedule (only afternoons/evenings possible) and would work with the right person to find something consistent. Depending on the shift, the role would include things like: * Helping with the kids’ morning routine and school drop-off * Giving our dog his afternoon medication and taking him for a good walk * Light household help such as laundry, tidying, kitchen reset and meal/lunch prep * Picking the kids up from school * Driving them to activities when needed * Spending time with them after school * Preparing dinner and school lunches for the following day This is not a deep-cleaning position — we’ll have separate help for heavier cleaning. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, confident with kids, comfortable with a large dog, able to prepare simple family meals, and a confident driver. A valid driver’s licence is required, and we can discuss using your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement or a family vehicle. References and a Vulnerable Sector Check will also be required.
