Each year, we fly over 3,000 missions, providing worldclass critical medical care whenever and wherever we are needed, and every team member contributes to helping that VIP.

We are a lifeline to the community when time and clinical expertise can make all the difference.

We are currently looking for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at our Regina Base in the Maintenance department.

Being an AME with STARS is about so much more than fixing and maintaining aircraft. As a member of our Maintenance team, you will be saving lives by helping to keep our aircraft operations-ready 24/7/365.

Key Responsibilities: Carry out duties in accordance with the STARS’ Maintenance Control and Policy Manuals Maintain awareness of Transport Canada regulations and required compliance of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins Act as a technical liaison with aircraft, engine and component manufacturers, vendors and overhaul agencies regarding the overhaul, repair, and modification of aircraft systems and/or components, as required Implement engineering modifications and retrofits to the fleet in accordance with OEM service bulletins or other Transport Canada approved data.

Qualifications & Requirements: Post-secondary Technical Diploma or equivalent required Current Transport Canada M1 or M2 AME License required Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as an AME Turbine engine experience Knowledge of the CARS Availability to be on call during on rotation weeks Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and Night Vision avionic system experience are assets Multi-engine helicopter experience The following endorsements are considered an asset: H145 Airframe H145 Helionics Arriel 2E Engine Bona Fide Occupational Statement: All STARS Aircraft Maintenance Engineer roles are physically demanding and require overall strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular capabilities.

All Aircraft Maintenance Engineer roles have bona fide occupational requirements, e.g., physical standards, that are integral to fulfilling the role.
