Job description
Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Midstream clients to seek a Process Engineer to join them on an initial 12-month contract in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, likely to extend!

Process engineer will support a major client that provides essential services for oil and gas producers in western Canada and market related natural gas liquids throughout North America. Their business comprises two integrated business lines: Gathering and Processing, and Liquids Business Units. They have built a strong reputation for operating their facilities safely and responsibly.
Responsibilities
  • Providing Process Engineering services to NGL processing and storage facility in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
  • Responsibilities include investigating plant issues, devising engineering solutions, and overseeing the implementation of change scopes from planning to execution.
  • Support small projects such as Management of Change (MOC).
  • Completing process engineering related calculations.
  • Evaluations and analyses.
  • Presenting the information in a manner that can be easily communicated and directly applied.
  • Overseeing EP consultants as required.
  • Interacting with commercial development and other stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Chemical engineering degree from accredited university.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in APEGA preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Process Engineering in the midstream industry.
  • Experience supporting small projects like MOC’s.
  • Experience in NGL processing and storage facility.
