Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this Senior Power BI Developer at this Healthcare leader in Ville Saint-Laurent ;

Analytics Development & Delivery

Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and scorecards, primarily using Power BI. Translate approved business requirements into scalable data models, KPIs, and technical solutions. Own development of datasets and semantic models, ensuring accuracy, performance, and reusability.

Data Engineering & Performance Optimization

Perform data validation and testing to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs. Troubleshoot data issues and apply root-cause analysis to resolve discrepancies. Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability across platforms like Snowflake, Oracle, or Databricks.

Stakeholder Collaboration & UAT

Partner with Strategic Insights and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve delivery issues. Support UAT and deployment, ensuring solutions meet acceptance criteria. Communicate development progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders. Workflow Automation & Documentation
Leverage Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow enablement. Maintain documentation and standards for sustainable development and knowledge transfer.

Continuous Improvement & Mentorship

Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and streamline development processes. Mentor junior developers and analysts on data modeling, DAX, and development standards. Leverage AI tools to enhance development efficiency within governance guidelines.

Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this Senior Power BI Developer at this Healthcare leader in Ville Saint-Laurent ;

Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in BI development or analytics engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, performance tuning, and deployment standards.
Advanced SQL skills across platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle, or Databricks.
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and analytics architecture.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow enablement.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or experience migrating legacy reporting (e.g., SSRS) to Power BI is considered a strong asset.
