JOB DESCRIPTION
About the role
We’re looking for a Bilingual L earning and Development Coordinator to join our team!
As a Bilingual Learning & Development Coordinator, your work will have a big impact with our Operational Performance Learning and Development department. You will be involved in coordinating learning journey's for underwriters and underwriting assistants. People will count on you to coordinate and support the delivery of training including prioritizing requests, managing logistics and measuring results.
This is a full-time 15 month contract / secondment position. We operate in a hybrid model, meaning you’ll be in the office a minimum of two days per week and have flexibility to work remotely (if you choose) for the remainder of the week.
Here are a few ways you'll make a difference :
Support the administration of our learning management systems including enrolments, course uploads, reporting and trouble shooting.
Assist with coordination of the evaluation of the program and the learners with respect to various data points as well as feedback collection and collation.
Coordinate scheduling, booking and other support functions for training events.
Assist in event planning for in-person training events, including room booking, food ordering, schedule creation, travel assistance, etc.
Drive team administrative functions including inbox monitoring, meetings, process improvements, IT system requirements.
Run reports and create dashboards for various metrics required.
What you will bring :
Excellent interpersonal skills required, including ability to work well remotely with a team based across Canada.
Experience coordinating projects and working with multiple priorities.
Previous L&D experience desirable, including experience administrating a learning management system (LMS).
Previous work in administration and dealing with various demands from multiple stakeholders.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Office suite.
Microsoft SharePoint administration experience would be an asset.
Working knowledge of Contact / Workday is an asset.
Knowledge in CCM, Guichet, CLPSS, CCL2.0 or Halcion is an asset
Excellent written communication, listening and organizational skills.
Adaptable with a problem solving, “can do” attitude and passionate about customer service
A reliable team-player, driven to achieve goals
Bilingualism is essential due to the need for regular interaction with English and French-speaking colleagues across the country.
