Brandt is currently seeking a Training Coordinator for our Edmonton location.

This position is responsible for the growth of the Operator Safety Training business in the Alberta region.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Administration of sales processes and certificate issuing
  • Keep current on clients' business activities and needs
  • Educate and advise clients by understanding their needs and recommending customized training solutions from our safety, compliance, and workforce development programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction
  • Regularly prospect and cold call new clients to discuss new promotions and program
  • Develop marketing and promotion strategies for the designated region
  • Prepare customer status reports, including but not limited to sales call activity, closing, follow–up, and prospect reports as required
  • Coordinate the delivery of ongoing local product knowledge and application training
  • Handle all training inquiries for the Operator Safety training business line in the region and book/assign applicable courses via the Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Develop and coordinate with customers the training schedule for regional training centers and coordinate in-class, on-site training sessions.
  • Manage and process payments in accordance with company procedures
  • Other duties as required

  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of material handling, powered mobile equipment, and heavy equipment considered an asset
  • Interpret and apply federal, provincial, and industry Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations
  • Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and office products (Excel, Word)
