Job descriptionA diploma in electrical design with a minimum of 2-5 years experience Experience designing multi-family residential buildings Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Onedrive, etc.) Fluent in English Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance Being a natural self starter with the ability to prioritize, self-schedule, meet tight deadlines, and work with colleagues from various departments, market sectors, and locations Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The position :
We are actively seeking a highly motivated Electrical Designer join our talented team. This is an on-site position working out of our Edmonton office.
What will you be doing?
- Collect client and project information and prepare electrical designs in accordance with best practice design and relevant codes and
- Use AutoCAD to prepare 2D drawing
- Use Revit to prepare 3D Building Information (BIM) models and export to 2D drawing
- Coordinate electrical design with Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Civil and other project consultants under the direction of the project
- Visit project site to collect required
- Visit Construction site to complete construction
- Performs other duties as assigned by project
