Job description
Are you a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions for web and/or mobile applications?. Our Alberta-based Financial client is seeking a UX Designer for a 12 month contract.

Client: Financial Services
Duration: 12 months
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: between $63-79/hr INC

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
● Design Exceptional Experiences: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UX designers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality design output.
● Collaborate with partners in UX, Product & Design: Work closely with Managed Services partners, including UX designers, copywriters and researchers.
● Design Process and Standards: Establish and maintain UX design processes, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency.
● Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, building strong working relationships.
● User Research and Testing: Plan, conduct, and analyze user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.

Qualifications
Top Skills:
1.) Skills & experience building flows and designs in Figma
2.) Experience designing and conducting user tests. Experience with Usertesting.com is a bonus.
3.) Experience working with Product Delivery Teams (Product, Engineering etc)
4.) Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5.) Experience working with Canadian Banks/FIs is a bonus
