Responsibilities
1. Perform day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support, including :
2. Create a Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) document to assist operational staff (non-DBAs) in their duties regarding Oracle database environments.
3. Perform regular assessment of the existing Oracle databases / environments, and make recommendations regarding :
4. Implement approved recommendations as described above.
5. Provide guidance and outline best practices for incorporating future database requirements into the environment.
6. Contribute to a team culture of collaboration, excellence and innovation.
7. Develop or inform the development of role descriptions for the development and sustainment of OPS / BPS Secure.
8. Develop plans for the knowledge and skills transfer to OPS employees, including activities or tests to demonstrate the successful transfer of knowledge and attainment of required skills.
9. Transfer knowledge to OPS employees.
