Our client in the Information Management Services industry are seeking multiple warehouse associates to perform general labour tasks in their warehouse. This client works with documents and storage and comes from a team of flexible managers, it truly is a wonderful place to start a career. The ideal candidate has experience in general labour roles and is capable lifting up to 50lbs without assistance. These are contract roles with the potential for extension or permanent employment.
Positions Available : Imaging Specialist, Data Entry Specialist
Pay Rate : $18.00 - $20.00 / hour
Schedule : 5 days / week, 9-hour shifts (30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks)
Job Summary :
We are hiring for multiple roles within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. These positions require physical stamina, attention to detail, and strong data entry skills.
Imaging Specialist : Seated role focused on document scanning, quality control, and data entry. Requires fast typing and proficiency with computers. There are four main components to the position. There are opportunities for rotating staff among these components either on different days or during the duration of the shift.
- Scanning – Prepped cartons are moved (one at a time) to scanner positions. The employee loads sheets into one of various types of scanners for processing and returns sheets to the box in the same order as received. Depending on the source material, sheets may be fed into scanners one at a time or in small batches. This is primarily a seated task but feeding scanners may be while standing, 20% of position as a whole.
- Quality – Confirms accuracy of scanned documents. This is primarily a seated task, 10% of position as a whole.
- Release / Index – Documentation of files and release of scanned material to customer. This is primarily a seated task, 10% of position as a whole.
Essential Functions :
Scanning – Detail oriented, must be able to operate, clean, and troubleshoot scanners.
Quality and Release / Index – Detail oriented and must be able to operate computer. Position requires significant data input and high rate of key strokes.
