Located in our Calgary office, this position will report to the Supervisor, HR Systems & Analytics. The Senior Analyst is a key role that supports and enhances our HR technologies and processes within SAP SuccessFactors. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a solid foundation of technical HRIS experience.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Work in tandem with our internal IT partners and external support vendors to scope and complete system enhancements and projects related to all SAP SuccessFactors modules
• System configuration and quality testing of new enhancements, including integrations
• Partner with internal Total Rewards team to configure and launch our Annual Compensation Cycle, as well as regular system enhancements for Time & Absence
• Day-to-day end user support, working with IT and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including integrations with other systems
• Identify process improvements and make recommendations for efficiency wins
• Regression testing semi-annual SAP SuccessFactors system releases
• Support the HR team in extracting and analyzing data to deliver actionable insights that support decision-making.
• Uphold the HRIS and LMS system governance including data integrity and security

Education, Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience supporting and configuring SuccessFactors – preference given to those with direct experience in Compensation or Time & Absence modules
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in: Information Systems Management, Business Analysis, Human Resources or a related field
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with HR processes and best practices
• Ability to use critical thinking when determining the value and sustainability of system change
• Ability to work within a customer-service style of systems support
• Experience with Power BI is an asset

The position will be in our corporate head office in the heart of downtown Calgary, close to the business core and natural attractions of Prince’s Island Park and the Bow River Pathway System. Our space offers employees a great work environment which promotes physical and mental wellness. Primarily, work will be completed in a dedicated cubicle and shared meeting rooms.

Hours

Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

As this position is identified security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment criminal background check assessment with satisfactory results.
