• The Beaumont Sport & Recreation Centre (BSRC) is looking for a Childmind Attendant to join our team!

We’re seeking service focused Childmind Attendants to work on a casual basis at the BSRC.

• The Center is offering a childminding program to enhance the customer experience for the families that utilize the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre.

Childminding is short-term care for infants and children aged 6 months – 7 years while their parent(s), guardian(s), or caregiver(s) use the facility.

We’re looking for Childmind Attendants who are passionate about creating a fun, safe and comfortable environment for infants and children, and can work up to 15 hours per week.

• What YOU’RE Responsible for: Engage children in activities and games Ensure parents and children have the best possible experience every time they visit Communicate with parents regarding any concerns or challenges Guarantee a fun, safe, engaging environment for children Participate in the City’s Health & Safety program Other duties as assigned What YOU Bring: High School Diploma Previous experience in babysitting and/or childcare Excellent communication skills First Aid/CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain at your own cost) Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention Record Checks What WE Offer: An hourly rate of $18.39 Membership to the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre And an amazing team to work with!!
