LOCATION: Barrie, ON
Full Time, Permanent
SHIFT: Days Mon-Friday 7:00-3:00

Responsibilities
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and install machinery and fabricate as per the blueprint
• Repair/ install mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
• Maintain plant operations and ensure equipment safety and environmental regulations are adhered to
• Provide proper machine adjustments to achieve rated speeds and quality product
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and carry out remedial action
• Maintain tools and record repairs per requirements
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance of the facility, as needed.

Qualifications
• Certified Ontario Electrician (442A or 309A)
• PLC and motor controls troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting equipment issues, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience with robots
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members.
• Mechanical aptitude/ interest
