Coordinator, Audit & Control - Contract

The Coordinator, Audit & Control oversees the Audit & Control office and all the functions associated within the office. This position is responsible for training of the Audit & Control Associates and ensuring that the Audit & Control duties are executed to the Holt Renfrew expectations.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Overseeing banking, sales audit, accounts payable, petty cash and cash float management functions
  • Inform, train and update associates on POS procedures and store routines.
  • Provide financial support through banking reconciliation, invoice coding, petty cash management and chargeback investigations
  • Ensure proper usage of Employee Parcel checks and employee purchase verification and storage
  • Support Employee Discount Audit, Markdowns (including Employee), Extended Returns, Verify Unsalable merchandise Paperwork, CTS Refunding cancelled orders
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports reconciling all cash office duties and responsibilities. Investigate Cash Shortages/overages and report findings to Manager.
  • Assist Manager with training of cash, debit, credit and other transactions for all store associates
  • Oversee repairs of technical systems (POS, etc.)
  • Administer the Program for employee retrieval of keys/phones/ipads +maintenance and ensure completion and adherence to Opening and closing procedures
  • Oversee and control supply requisitions to stay within budget and ensure cost control measures are followed.
  • Ensure proper controls for EGCs from storing, sorting and distributing EGCs as well as addressing Aged EGCs. Reports unused balances to Manager.
  • Perform department auditing of company policies and procedures related to Audit & Control and Cash Office
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

The ideal candidate:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of previous work experience in a similar environment; retail preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • A proven track record of strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication

Coordonnateur(trice), Vérification et Contrôle

Le(la) coordonnateur(trice), Vérification et Contrôle supervise le service de Vérification et Contrôle et toutes les fonctions au sein du bureau. Il(elle) est responsable de la formation des préposé(e)s du service de Vérification et Contrôle et de s’assurer que les tâches de Vérification et Contrôle sont exécutées conformément aux attentes de Holt Renfrew.

Les responsabilités spécifiques comprennent ce qui suit, sans toutefois s’y limiter :

  • Encadrer les fonctions de gestion bancaire, de vérification des ventes, de comptes fournisseurs, de petite caisse et de fonds de caisse
  • Informer, former et mettre à jour les préposé(e)s quant aux procédures au PDV et aux routines en magasin
  • Fournir un soutien financier grâce au rapprochement bancaire, à l’encodage des factures, à la gestion de petite caisse et aux enquêtes de rétrofacturation
  • Effectuer la vérification des effets personnels des employés ainsi que la vérification et l’entreposage des achats des employés de façon appropriée
  • Soutenir la vérification de la remise d’employé, des démarques (incluant les employés), des retours prolongés, de la documentation inhérente aux marchandises invendables, des commandes de VTC annulées et remboursées
  • Remplir les rapports hebdomadaires et mensuels en exécutant toutes les tâches et responsabilités administratives. Vérifier les déficits/surplus de caisse et signaler les résultats au directeur.
  • Assister le directeur avec la formation dispensée à tous les employé(e)s du magasin sur les opérations au comptant, par carte de débit et de crédit et avec toutes autres opérations
  • Supervise les réparations et les systèmes techniques (PDV, etc.)
  • Gère le programme de récupération des clés/téléphones/iPads des employés et la maintenance, en plus de s’assurer de l’exécution et de la conformité aux procédures d’ouverture et de fermeture
  • Supervise et contrôle les demandes d’approvisionnement dans le respect du budget et s’assure que les mesures de contrôle des coûts sont suivies.
  • Instaure un contrôle des CCÉ, de l’entreposage à la distribution, en passant par leur classification, ainsi que la gestion des vieilles CCÉ. Signale les soldes non utilisés au directeur.
  • Effectue la vérification des politiques et procédures de l’entreprise relatives au service de Vérification et Contrôle et de la caisse centrale
  • Se conforme à toutes les politiques et exigences de santé et sécurité
  • Réalise toute autre tâche qui lui est confiée

Le(la) candidat(e) idéale) possède :

  • Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent
  • De 3 à 5 ans d’expérience préalable dans un environnement similaire; vente au détail un atout
  • Connaissances de Microsoft Office, incluant Excel, PowerPoint et Word
  • Attention minutieuse aux détails éprouvée, exceptionnelles compétences organisationnelles et excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et verbale
