Job descriptionPost-secondary degree or diploma in a construction-related field. Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in stack townhouse or mid-rise residential construction. Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code, local regulations, and safety standards. Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction management software like Microsoft Project. Leadership and team management skills to oversee contractors and subcontractors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in MS Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
Position Title : Finishing Superintendent

Responsibilities :
- Supervise contractors to ensure finishing works meet project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for timely and quality completion of mid-rise and townhouse finishing works.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify finishing quality aligns with project standards.
- Maintain accurate records of finishing activities and prepare progress reports.
- Review drawings and submittals for compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain updated "as built" drawings for mid-rise and townhouse projects.
- Compile and submit project closeout documents, including O&M manuals and warranties.
- Halt work if safety or quality concerns arise, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare daily job diaries to document project progress.
- Monitor on-site operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and resolve issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with the project team to address and resolve design discrepancies effectively.
