- Assist the Site Superintendent in organizing daily construction activities.
- Support planning, scheduling, and controlling projects from start to finish within budget and specifications.
- Collaborate with the project team to review plans and ensure accurate implementation.
- Advocate for and implement health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project.
- Regularly update the construction schedule to ensure that milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate tasks and activities with various project stakeholders, including clients, architects, consultants, site foremen, field personnel, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Supervise subcontractors, workers, and vendors to ensure quality standards.
- Organize pre-construction meetings to ensure all trades understand requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that materials and workmanship comply with quality standards and regulations.
- Perform regular inspections for compliance and quality.
- Provide updates on project progress and challenges to the Site Superintendent.
- Lead by example to ensure that all site personnel adhere to the company's safety culture.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry as an Assistant Site Superintendent within an established ICI General Contractor .
- Experience managing ICI full-cycle new construction projects for long-term care, health care facilities, universities, or government buildings .
- Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for leading and inspiring a diverse team.
- Skilled in using construction management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction process, techniques, and terminology.
- Deep understanding, knowledge, and implementation of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety
