Description

As the ideal candidate, you have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a site superintendent for residential wood structure projects. You have proven expertise in Quebec construction methods, codes, standards and regulations .

Our residential construction project is located on the South Shore of Montreal.

Responsibilities

• Manage a project under the supervision of the Project Manager;
• Ensure that work is carried out efficiently, productively and safely;
• Independently coordinate site activities in compliance with the customer's plans and specifications;
• Enforce compliance of suppliers and subcontractors with contractual requirements;
• Write site reports, complete control sheets, receive materials delivered to site;
• Plan construction schedules and ensure compliance;
• Inform the project manager of progress and make any necessary adjustments to the work schedule;
• Follow up with the project manager to ensure that all required documents are up to date;
• Eliminate all deficiencies in order to receive provisional and final acceptance of the project;
• Manage material, equipment, labor and subcontracting requirements;
• Any other related tasks.
