🌐 We’re looking for a technically skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, secure, and optimize the networks that keep modern businesses running smoothly.

Our client is a trusted IT solutions partner, helping organizations navigate digital transformation with a focus on reliability, security, and performance. They’re seeking a hands-on engineer who can architect robust network environments, troubleshoot complex challenges, and ensure seamless connectivity across on-premise and cloud platforms.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in building resilient infrastructures that enable clients to scale confidently while maintaining high standards of uptime and security.

💻 Who You Are

  • You’re a hands-on network engineer who thrives on solving connectivity challenges and optimizing infrastructure.
  • You bring structure, technical expertise, and reliability to critical environments.
  • You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across teams and clients.
  • You care deeply about performance, data security, and operational excellence.

📍 Work Type

  • Mostly Remote - may require occasional in-office or client site visits (client office locations are in Windsor, ON and London, ON)
  • Vacancy Type: This role reflects an existing vacancy

Requirements

🎯What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across Fortinet, Cisco, and Cisco Meraki environments
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor to MSP clients, providing guidance on network architecture, security, and infrastructure strategy
  • Lead Azure networking initiatives, including VNets, VPN Gateway, NSGs, and hybrid connectivity
  • Plan and execute network implementations, migrations, upgrades, and optimization projects across multiple client environments
  • Troubleshoot complex networking and infrastructure issues and provide expert-level technical resolution
  • Work directly with clients to understand their technical requirements and translate them into practical, scalable solutions
  • Support pre-sales activities, including technical discovery, solution design, scoping, and client presentations
  • Develop network designs, implementation plans, technical documentation, and best-practice standards
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams, vendors, leadership, and client stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
  • Provide post-deployment support and ongoing technical guidance to ensure client environments remain secure, stable, and optimized
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and after-hours implementation windows when required
  • Share knowledge and mentor other engineers while contributing to continuous improvement across the team

⭐ What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a similar technical role
  • Previous experience working within an MSP, managed services, or IT consulting environment
  • CCNA or CCNP certification required (additional Cisco certifications would be an asset)
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco networking, Fortinet, and Cisco Meraki
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network environments across multiple clients
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, VPN Gateway, NSGs, and hybrid connectivity
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex networking and infrastructure issues independently
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to act as a trusted technical advisor
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience developing technical documentation, network designs, implementation procedures, and best practices
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple client environments and competing priorities
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in a remote-first, client-facing environment

Nice-to-Haves

  • Fortinet certifications
  • Microsoft Azure networking certifications or hands-on experience designing Azure network architectures
  • Previous involvement in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical scoping
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or providing technical leadership within an MSP environment

🔥 What Makes This Role Exciting?

  • Technical Influence – You'll play a key role in shaping enterprise networking environments and guiding strategic decisions
  • Variety of Work – From architecture discussions and client consulting to hands-on implementations, no two weeks look the same
  • Remote-First Flexibility – Enjoy the autonomy of working remotely while remaining connected to a supportive and experienced team
  • Meaningful Client Partnerships – Build trusted relationships and become the go-to expert clients rely on

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
  • Paid Vacation and Personal Days
  • Comprehensive Health Benefits & RRSP Matching
  • Professional Development & Certification Opportunities
