Reporting to the Pit Superintendent, the Loader Operator is responsible for loading gravel trucks at the company’s various locations in the Greater Calgary Area.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Operate Front end Loader to load trucks in sand pits, gravel pits, and recycle concrete and asphalt depot
  • Periodic relief of truck scale operator, as and when required.
  • Preventative maintenance on machinery/equipment as required.
  • Adhering to all safety policies and processes.
  • Additional tasks as required by supervisor.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience operating Loader in construction environment.
  • Familiar with aggregates and the construction industry required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Awareness of surroundings and ability to perform job in a safe manner.
  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors, and the public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
  • Must be a team player.
