Position Summary
Are you a registered Computer Tomography (CT) Technologist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Computer Tomography department.
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the position promotes a safe environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist or Manager, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs computer tomography (CT) procedures. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.
Shift Rotation / Hours of work : Nights, 23 : 30 to 07 : 30 (rotating)
University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) is the largest Acute Care facility within the Northern Health region, and a hub for specialized health services. It's also a teaching hospital :
- Provides undergraduate physician training through the Northern Medical Program, run by the University of British Columbia and University of Northern British Columbia.
- Hosts residents in UBC's Family Practice Residency Program
