Location : Various locations across Nova Scotia
The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the organization s mission programs and services. This role involves managing the organization s brand creating marketing materials and maintaining relationships with media outlets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute marketing and communication plans.
- Create content for newsletters social media websites and other marketing materials.
- Manage the organization s social media presence and online reputation.
- Coordinate media relations and respond to media inquiries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics.
- Assist in planning and promoting fundraising events and campaigns.

Bachelor s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or communications.
