In the role as Senior Program Manager, you will be supporting the Design Director in the day-to-day oversight of the multi-disciplinary design program. The role is accountable for maintaining alignment across concurrent design packages, ensuring that technical delivery is coordinated, risks are identified early, and outputs are delivered in line with program scope, schedule, quality, and stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day program oversight and high-level coordination for all active design packages within the Toronto office.
  • Stabilize design execution by identifying and resolving bottlenecks across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Coordinate technical work across internal entities and external partners, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and regulatory alignment.
  • Act as a senior technical authority, ensuring all engineering outputs meet applicable standards and project controls requirements.
  • Represent design positions in governance reviews and stakeholder meetings.
  • Support implementation of the design execution plan and monitor adherence across all packages and phases of delivery.
  • Lead or support design coordination workshops, internal reviews, and senior technical discussions to maintain consistency across disciplines.
  • Provide management-level reporting on design progress, key risks, interfaces, decisions required, and corrective actions.
  • Mentor design managers, technical leads, and discipline coordinators to maintain delivery consistency, quality, and accountability.
  • Ensure design activities are aligned with constructability, delivery sequencing, and broader program objectives.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or aviation design programs.
  • Proven track record in project controls integration and regulatory-driven delivery.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to mentor technical leads across various disciplines.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario.
  • Experience in multi-party program environments and complex stakeholder-led delivery models is strongly preferred.
