JOB PURPOSEResponsible for managing Cooling Division expansion into North America, including coordination of communication, resources, strategy and growth activities with regional General Managers and other relevant stakeholders to develop and deploy a strategy for success. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSManage all aspects of the Cooling Division in North America, partnering with regional General Managers and divisions (MSUS, MSCA, Domex and Cooling Division Support in Australia) to grow the product line in the region, Ensure operational readiness and capability, including proposing and securing approval for CAPEX, tracking spend and implementation, and securing the required skills and tooling to support sales and service delivery,Deliver the requisite level of financial return to the Company within a framework of corporate policies and procedures that ensure zero harm to all employees, stakeholders, community, Company, and the environment,Ensure adherence to HEPI safety and quality requirements and expectations, contributing to a proactive culture,Continually develop, implement, and maintain short-, medium- and long-term strategies that are aligned to the Company’s vision, values and strategic direction,Coordinate globally to utilise existing internal subject matter experts and facilities as required to establish the Cooling product line in the region,Oversee sales and other staff with responsibility for expanding and representing the Cooling business, and provide direction and strategic advice,Target sales and service opportunities within the mining, marine, oil and gas, power generation and industrial maintenance in the region, Communication with prospective and existing customers, including tracking opportunities, customer meetings, and all necessary interactions to secure and maintain sales and service arrangements,In consultation with Supply Chain teams, ensure adequate stock in strategic regional locations, including service exchange cores and distributed products,Recommend acquisition targets, areas and industries for growth to EVP, COO and CEO, and develop proposals, plans and strategies to support through to action,Communicate the Cooling Division’s strategic vision throughout the organization, and align with regional general managers and relevant stakeholders to achieve targets,Ensure effective systems and controls are in place to identify and manage business risks, In conjunction with the Finance Department and other senior managers, prepare annual sales, operating and capital expenditure budgets, and input into budgets in other regions, supporting the expansion of the Cooling Division.Strategic ProjectsLead, contribute to and participate in the delivery of strategic initiatives and projects on a regional and global scale. SafetyAll employees must complete initial HEPI Induction Training. Employees must adhere to all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, and other work practices established by HEPI or governed authorities. Focus on achieving leading indicator targets to reduce incidents and lag indicators.The position description gives a general indication of the duties to be performed, however, duties may not be limited to those listed. COMPETENCIESBusiness and Technical Systems : Knowledge of current OH&S legislation and best practice and demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental management.High level of computer literacy with ability to use the following packages : Microsoft office suite (outlook, word, excel, powerpoint),Pronto ERPSalesforceKnowledge of Pronto Database or ERP system.Academic and Trade Qualifications : Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Engineering or related discipline,Post-graduate qualification (i.e. MBA) would be beneficial, but not essential. Work Experience : Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Operational, Commercial or Sales Manager in mining, engineering or equipment environment,Demonstrated understanding of managing a mixed mode manufacturing and servicing business.
