Job Overview
The Dealer Business Development Manager manages and assists our Dealer Channel with all things Genius & Synergy revenue related. This position’s importance lies in being the Dealer’s advocate and ambassador for all matters related to reselling Global Payments Genius and associated products, as well as driving revenue through referral of card. The person is responsible for Dealer contracts, quotas, territories and recruitment / terminations. This position must learn, teach and facilitate all policies, procedures, and product advantages to facilitate the growth of revenue of the Dealers in the divisions assigned to them. Additionally, this position is the face in their respective divisions for the Dealer Program and all Global Payments related. This position requires extreme attention to detail to make sure that every Dealer and Dealer prospect is efficiently and professionally communicated with and mentored.
Responsibilities
- Maintain mastery of all dealer‑specific documentation, the Dealer Manual, Dealer processes, price list, authorized Dealer list, and training materials.
- Assist Dealers with growing their leads, answering RFP / RFIs, selling & closing POS business, and relationship management with the local Global Payments card community.
- Act as the primary contact for any Dealer related escalations.
- Travel more than 24 weeks a year as needed.
- Recruit new Dealers to cover all products in all major markets of divisions.
- Ensure Dealers fully understand Dealer Manual and their Contract.
- Know the Dealer Manual for each product inside and out, and notify Dealers when changes occur.
- Foster positive and respectful relationships with all existing Dealers in the division.
- Touch base with every Dealer in the division 1–2 times a month and coordinate visits timed with events where Dealers will be present.
- Create community and harmony between individual Dealers and other divisions, such as card.
- Encourage respectful behavior and enforce rules when Dealers violate engagement rules.
- Increase and maximize total Dealer revenue in each division across all products.
- Monitor and influence revenue increases and opportunities within the divisions.
- Help Dealers close large opportunities and create new local leads while monitoring Dealer pipelines.
- Manage Dealer’s minimum and targeted quotas, influence and communicate progress so that the Dealer is aware of status changes.
- Expose, train and assist in launches of new sellable products to all Dealers in the division.
- Notify relevant managers about Dealer boarding, termination, remediation, legal escalation whenever a Dealer has a change of status or issue.
- Share periodic communication with Dealers : lead reviews, revenue updates, operational issues, product quality, editorial news, campaign results, training classes, trade shows, contests, and messaging.
- Maintain SF.com, Knowledge Portal, Dealer Exchange, Google Drive documentation and train Dealers on usage.
- Drive attendance to product panels and coordinate broader team events.
- Assist in supporting travel logistics, expense policies, and PTO procedures.
- Respond to all communications within 24 hours, use phone or email as appropriate, and CC executives when necessary.
- Travel as required for trade shows, events, and road‑show engagements.
- Maintain accurate and timely travel approval, expense submission, and budgeting.

Compensation & Benefits
This position is a work-from-home role, salary plus bonus. OTE – $120,000.
