The Electrical Design Engineer or Engineer in training position is based at our new location on Miramichi Ave, in Bathurst, NB.
Applicants must be, or about to be, registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick as a Professional Member (P.Eng.) or Member-In-Training (EIT). Preference will be given to applicants who are currently a licensed professional engineer in New Brunswick .
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Design and CAD drawings of industrial or substation power distribution systems.
- Design and draw electrical protection and controls for power distribution.
- Develop electrical engineering conceptual designs for new substation products.
- Design and verify plans in compliance with IEEE, CSA and applicable standards.
- Manage product drawing review and approval process.
- Prepare contracts and purchase agreements with suppliers and subcontractors
