Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Ottawa, ON
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will design and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
• Support cloud modernization initiatives for banking, government, OSS/BSS, billing, and telecom platforms.
• Design and support cloud networking, storage, backup, resiliency, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Build infrastructure supporting telecom network operations, 5G platforms, and edge computing environments.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and operational teams.
• Implement cloud security, governance, and compliance controls.
• Manage infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity planning.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and incidents.
• Support enterprise transformation and modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments is required.
• Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or telecom operational platforms.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure technologies and services.
• Knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Understanding of governance, compliance, and security requirements.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience supporting mission-critical platforms.
• Cloud certification preferred.
