Position Description : Under the direction and supervision of the Operations Manager / Finance Officer, and in accordance with Centre standards, the Administrative / Finance Clerk is responsible for a wide range of high level administrative and clerical duties. This position will also oversee the handling of a variety of resident accounts and will participate in all general financial practices of the Centre.
Qualification Required :
Business Administration certificate from a recognized educational institute with at least two years’ experience. IWHC reserves the right to consider any combination of work and life experience deemed acceptable.
Must be proficient in Quick Books.
Must be able to work independently and with a management team.
Experience in handling multiple accounts.
Experience in accounts payable / receivable.
Experience in payroll.
Must be able to multi-task and function in a high paced environment.
Word processing speed of 40 - 60 wpm.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Indigenous customs and traditions is essential.
Must have and maintain a working knowledge of Centre programs and services as well as the requirements of Government and other funding sources.
Must have a valid Manitoba Driver’s License and access to a vehicle suitable for work purposes.
Must be able to obtain Enhanced Security Clearance.
