Accounts payable Jobs in Milton, ON

Our client, a well-established organization located in the Milton area, is seeking an experienced Controller for a 6-8 month contract assignment, with a targeted start date at the end of September.

This hands-on role will be responsible for managing key accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information while supporting the ongoing needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Produce monthly and year-end financial statements
• Manage and oversee sales tax filings
• Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Provide financial analysis and support to management as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• CPA designation required
• Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
• Public accounting background, ideally with a Big 4 firm
• Strong NetSuite experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, outgoing, and collaborative personality
