Job description
We're hiring experienced Accounting Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Halton Region, Ontario with a well-established manufacturing company. This position oversees general accounting operations, supports financial processes across multiple entities, and requires hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
Job Type : Full Time, Permanent
Location : On-site, Halton Region, ON
Pay Rate : $95,000 - $100,000 / year
Hours : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
What You'll Do :
- Lead and support the accounting, payroll, and administrative teams (6 direct reports)
- Oversee daily banking, credit card transactions, and reconciliation processes
- Manage the posting of invoices, receipts, and journal entries with accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor company and subsidiary cash activity to support cash flow management
- Ensure consistency in financial processes and internal controls across multiple entities
- Promote operational efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Support employee development through coaching, feedback, and cross-training
- Proven management and team leadership experience
- Strong accounting and finance background in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working across multiple entities
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
