We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in Woodbridge, Ontario. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. Responsibilities :

• Perform full-cycle accounting tasks, including accounts payable processing and project allocation.
• Manage credit card transactions by attaching receipts, assigning costs to projects, and reconciling accounts.
• Support month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and assisting with financial reporting.
• Handle general accounting functions such as account maintenance, correspondence, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on various projects and provide assistance as required.
• Execute specific duties assigned by managers to support organizational goals.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach while adapting to different situations and challenges.
• Utilize accounting software, such as Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, and SAP Business One, to streamline processes.
• Organize and manage a significant volume of documents while meeting deadlines efficiently.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation, invoice processing, and coding invoices.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as SAP.
• Knowledge of check runs and data entry processes.
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle high volumes of documentation effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in handling credit card allocations and reconciling accounts.
• Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
