This role sits within Northpoint Commercial Finance, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank.

As part of the Operations team this role is has the following priorities :

  • Processing Accounts Receivable
  • Monthly Customized Summary Billings

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming payments in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Daily reconciliation of cash
  • Complete Accounts Receivable reconciliations, investigate issues and contact customers as required
  • Work with internal and external customers to resolve payment issues
  • Process Consolidated Billing and custom invoicing requests
  • Auditing billings to identify potential adjustments
  • Monitor daily invoicing process and maintain relationship with 3rd party invoicing provider.
  • This position may rotate into other departments as required, including but not limited to Customer Service, Collections, New Business originations, etc.
  • Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field or 3 years of commercial lending experience with an emphasis on equipment financing and leasing.
  • Strong MS Excel skills including experience creating formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver in a timely manner.
  • Team player who demonstrates integrity in dealings with all stakeholders.
