Bardel Entertainment busca un Layout Artist para integrarse en su equipo de animación 3D. La posición es de tiempo completo , con modalidad híbrida, requiriendo asistencia presencial en su estudio de Vancouver durante la fase de onboarding y en períodos específicos denominados Rush Weeks.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PUESTO
Por más de 35 años, Bardel Entertainment ha evolucionado dentro de la industria de la animación manteniendo su esencia creativa. La empresa fomenta un ambiente donde la colaboración y la experimentación son clave para alcanzar resultados excepcionales.
El Layout Artist será responsable de establecer la puesta en escena y la posición de cámara en un entorno CG , colaborando estrechamente con el supervisor de Layout para adecuar la cinematografía a la visión del director, e interpretando storyboards para proponer soluciones visuales en 3D.
Además, animará elementos y personajes para reforzar el encuadre y el ritmo narrativo, participando en dailies y discusiones técnicas y creativas. Deberá seguir los flujos de trabajo del pipeline para integrarse adecuadamente en la producción y, en casos senior, mentorizar a artistas junior.
Se valorará la capacidad para mantener la calidad constante, gestionar eficientemente el tiempo y comunicar avances y retos a producción y equipo.
REQUISITOS
- Experiencia previa en producción como Layout Artist o rol similar en series de TV o animación featurette.
- Para roles junior, presentación de un reel sólido .
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita para promover soluciones y recibir retroalimentación.
- Conocimiento del lenguaje de cinematografía .
- Experiencia con software de edición como DaVinci Resolve es valorada.
- Fuertes habilidades en gestión de tiempo y comprensión de trabajo secuencial.
- Portfolio que demuestre manejo de secuencias, cámara dinámica, traducción de storyboards 2D a escenas animadas 3D y dominio de composición, tiempo y storytelling visual.

Rango salarial : CAD $1,300 – $1,520 por semana, considerando educación, experiencia, habilidades y ubicación.
