A career as a Senior Advisor, Vulnerability Management at the National Bank of Canada involves working with multiple technical teams to protect the organization.
Leveraging your skills in vulnerability scanning and your technical knowledge in application security and infrastructure management, you contextualize, prioritize, and effectively highlight vulnerabilities for timely correction.
Your role
Understand and contextualizing vulnerabilities
Prioritize correction of vulnerabilities
Help remediation teams in the correction to put in place
Do the appropriate follow-ups and revalidations
Stay informed of new vulnerabilities and threats that can affect us
Collaborate with different cybersecurity experts to reduce our risks
Your team
As part of our Security Operational Center (SOC) you work closely with various experts in cyber defense, cyber offense, cyber threat intel and vulnerability management.
T his position reports directly to the Senior Director, Cyber Threat Intel and Attack Surface.

Prerequisites
Bacchelor degree completed and related to the function and 3 years of related experience or equivalent
Excellent knowledge in application security
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Acunetix, Veracode, etc.
Good knowledge of infrastructure management of Windows, Linux and Aix
Good knowledge of virtual environnement (citrix / vmware) and CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) in French and English
