Finance Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of an acquisitive Canadian public company with operations throughout North America. They are seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with relevant experience from a large public accounting firm and / or industry experience post-public.

Key responsibilities and oversight :

• Projects to support acquisition integration of key functions including finance and technology
• Support M&A activity including valuations, analysis and due diligence activities on all deals
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and detailed analysis, along with management of debt facilities
• Provide analysis on impacts of acquisitions on debt covenants and financial statements
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports for senior management
• Research and analyze financial statement impacts of various complex accounting treatments
• Provide various financial reports and analysis to identify issues, trends and improvement areas
• Financial systems support, process improvement, and driving efficiencies

The company is offering excellent compensation for this level including an attractive base salary, annual performance bonus, stock-based compensation, and great benefits.

The successful candidate will possess the following :

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA)
• 4+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and / or industry
• Strong technical and complex accounting experience under IFRS
• Experience improving processes and working with systems
