Family Law Legal Assistant/Law Clerk

Our client is a leading full service law firm in the heart of Downtown Toronto known for its low turnover. They are currently seeking a Legal Assistant / Law Clerk to join their Family Law practice.

Your new role

As a Legal Assistant / Law Clerk, you will play a crucial role within the practice. Your tasks will involve drafting legal documents and correspondences, conducting research, managing case files from open to close, and providing essential administrative support.

Working closely with the lawyers, you will demonstrate your ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this position, the client is seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a family law litigation practice in Canada.

Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, PCLaw and DivorceMate is also required.

What you'll get in return

In addition to three remote working days per week, salary ranges from $60,000-65,000 (dependent on experience), vacation of 3-4 weeks, excellent benefits including health and wellness, transportation, etc from DAY ONE.
