Located in the Montreal, our client is looking for a Senior Payroll and Benefits Technician. Reporting to the Director of Compensation, Payroll and HRIS, the incumbent will be part of our client's Human Resources team.
The incumbent will be responsible for participating in the payroll process, monitoring benefits and providing administrative support for the department's HR activities.

Responsibilities
- Production and processing of bi-weekly Canadian and American payroll;
- Ensures data integrity of various company systems with HR related data (Kronos, R2, Dynamics 365, etc.);
- Provides customer service for all aspects of group insurance, benefits and human resources policies;
- Participates in the management of hirings, terminations and any changes to employee status;
- Participate in group insurance management : enrolments, terminations, modifications and overall verification;
Respond to questions and requests from employees and internal partners received daily in our inbox.
- Provide support to HRIS users;
- Assists the Human Resources team in various development projects;
- Payment to various agencies;
Participates in the year-end process
Qualifications
Diploma of vocational studies or college diploma in administration or accounting, or any other relevant training;
FPC or CPP certification
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software (DLGL VIP or other);
- Knowledge of an integrated human resources management system (an asset);
- Fluency in both official languages, oral and written;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
- Knowledge of Canadian legislation and labor standards;
- Experience in U.S. payroll and knowledge of U.S. laws (an asset);
- Research and analytical skills;
