Whatis in it foryou :
Hourly salary of $32 to $37 based onexperience.
12 to 18monthcontract with the potential for permanentemployment.
Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.
Daytimeschedule with occasional early or latecalls.
Hybrid work : 3 office daysfrom Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary point of contact for all intellectual propertymatters and manage the intellectual property portfolio under thesupervision of the Head of Global IntellectualProperty.
Draft correspondenceagreements trademark license agreements renewal documentation andother trademarkrelated documents.
Ensure timely filings with relevant trademark registry offices(with assistance from external trademarkagents).
Conduct trademarksearches in both English andFrench.
Perform specificadministrative and legal research tasks for the Head of GlobalIntellectual Property.
Collaborate with law clerks in otherjurisdictions.
Develop and adhereto new policies and procedures regarding IntellectualProperty.
Provide support withopposition files including preparing cease and desist letters andcoexistence agreements.
Offerassistance with copyright matters domain names and patents asneeded.
Whatyou will need tosucceed :
Law Clerk / Paralegal designation from a recognizedinstitution.
3 years of relevantintellectual property law clerk experience at a law firm or largefinancial institution.
Experiencein trademark law copyright law either at a firm or inhouse legaldepartment.
Strong attention todetail.
Proficient research andproblemsolving abilities.
Abilityto prioritize workload and manage timeeffectively.
Proactive problemsolver with the ability to take initiative whenrequired.
Excellent relationshipmanagement skills.
Strong teamplayer.
Capability to collaborateeffectively across multiple businesslines.
Effective communicatorwith a positive attitude (both written andverbal).
General workingknowledge of Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with PowerPoint and SharePoint would beadvantageous.
