You will support two Partners by handling a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to : Creating documents and correspondence through transcription and copy-typing, making necessary revisions.

Managing expense reports, courier forms, file opening forms, photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing, and creating file folders.

Engaging with all firm members and clients.Organizing documents for distribution, mailing, and binding.Coordinating and confirming appointments, meetings, and conferences.

Preparing and generating pre-bills for monthly billing.Booking travel and making reservations.Organizing and accurately filing correspondence, invoices, and receipts both physically and digitally, and managing file storage.

Assisting with various projects as required.You are someone with a strong client service approach, demonstrating resourcefulness and robust problem-solving skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.

This role will be ideal if you thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment and have sounds judgement, can exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.

You should also come with : Legal Assistant Diploma from an accredited institutionMinimum of 5 years of commercial real estate experience within a law firmStrong multi-tasking and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationHigh accuracy and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Solid transcription and proofreading skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience with Teraview and Conveyancer (an asset)Experience with pre-billing administration (preferably 3E)Familiarity with DMS systems (an asset)Qualified job seekers are asked to apply with attention to Maxine Crocker.
