Location : North York, ON (on site)

Salary : $65,000 to 70,000

Do you have deep functional knowledge in Finance (A / R, A / P, Invoicing, General Ledger, Cash, Bank Recs and Budgeting.)?

Responsibilities

In this Accountant role in North York, ON you will have the following day-to-day responsibilities :

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger accounts in QuickBooks Online
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Process invoices and payments, and manage accounts payable.
• Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Prepare and process payroll, source deductions, and payroll remittances accurately and on a timely basis
• Prepare and process Sales Tax / GST / HST returns on monthly basis accurately and on a timely basis.
• Contribute to special projects and financial analysis as needed.
• Respond to ad hoc requests for financial information.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, human resources, and operations.

Qualifications

As the successful candidate for the Accountant role in North York, ON you will demonstrate the following qualifications :

• Proven experience as an accountant
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical skills
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other related software
• Expertise in Quick Books online
