0.8 FTE Intermediate (Gr. 4-7) Term assignment at Pacific Heights Elementary School ending June 30, 2025 or return of incumbent (teacher who owns the position) not to exceed June 30, 2025.

This position will earn the successful candidate a continuing contract with the district.

Subjects include Physical and Health Education or Basic French.

Pacific Heights Elementary is in the South Surrey / White Rock area with 464 students. It is an early K-2 French Immersion school.

A division being added yearly until 2028 / 29 when it will be K-7. The school also has a Social Development program, learning plan, and early literacy focus.

Intermediate prep teachers provide instruction in one or two subjects of the BC curriculum to multiple classes from grade 4 to grade 7.

The schedule for this 0.8 FTE position at Panorama Park is Monday to Thursday. Subject and schedule are flexible.

Requirements :

Bachelor of Education

Valid BC Teaching Certificate

Salary range is $59,711 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
