1.0 FTE Gr. 1 / 2 Term assignment at W.E Kinvig Elementary School ending June 30, 2025 or return of incumbent (teacher who owns the position) not to exceed June 30, 2025.

This position will earn the successful candidate a continuing contract with the district.

W.E. Kinvig is in the Newton / Fleetwood area and has 400 students. This is an inner city school, community school, transiency with high ELL.

The school has MacBook and iPad carts. Programs : Attendance Matters, Breakfast Club, School Meals, Early Literacy and Early Numeracy, Strong Start, Aboriginal CCW - JumpStart.

School goal : Literacy (Reading).

Requirements :

Bachelor of Education

Valid BC Teaching Certificate

Salary range is $59,711 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
