Teaching Assistants, multiple roles (CCNM - Toronto Campus)

Application deadline : Until filled We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic, outgoing professional individuals for the position of Teaching Assistants for the courses listed below.

While specific duties for the position of Teaching Assistant may vary with each course, typically they may include advance preparation, leading weekly small-group practical sessions, demonstrating relevant techniques and methods to student groups, evaluating student performance of relevant techniques and methods, and offering guidance and mentoring to students.   • Thursdays from 4 - 6
  • September 26, Oct 10, November 7, 21, December 5

Available : September 2024 Additional hours will be required for administrative duties, which are not specified in the schedule. Qualifications Experience

  • Clinical experience will be considered an asset for some courses
  • Teaching experience with adult learners, particularly using on-line learning platforms (Moodle) is an asset

Education

  • Health-care professional registered in the province of Ontario (ND, DC, MD, etc.)
  • Training in teaching methodology, curriculum design, and evaluation at a post-secondary level is an asset

Skills

  • Exceptional oral and written communication and facilitation skills with the ability to motivate and engage students
  • Excellent organization, analytical, research and time management skills
