Flight Service Engineer (M2)

Description :

Aerotek Canada has partnered up with a leading Canadian aircraft manufacturing company and have an immediate opening for 10 permanent flight service engineers (AMEs) within the Pre-Flight Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following :

• Inspecting, using necessary equipment, all operations including functioning and engine run performed between the final assembly and acceptance of the aircraft by the customer.
• Inspect any or all work performed in connection with the building of an aircraft from the early stages of development through to final assembly.
• Complete all necessary inspection reports and documents related to the foregoing and have a complete knowledge of procedure.

Qualifications :

• A valid M2 License is essential.
• 5+ years experience in a similar role.
• Solid interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be flexible to travel between Toronto and Kitchener, Ontario
• Must be flexible to work afternoons / midnight shifts
