JOB PURPOSE

As the Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation. You will be responsible for managing all brewery administrative tasks and providing support to different departments within the company.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has a passion for the craft beer industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all administrative and office-related tasks
  • Manage and organize all brewery emails and ensure a timely response to all inquiries
  • Answer brewery phone calls and respond to any voicemails
  • Support with ordering and inventory management for office and retail supplies, as well as brewery merchandise
  • Manage and organize the brewery calendar including live music and special event bookings
  • Perform weekly A / R collections for licensees which includes processing payments, sending reminders, follow ups, etc.
  • Assist with the administrative duties for taproom operations (daily cash procedures, petty cash receipts, etc.)
  • Support with recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
  • Take the lead on health and safety to ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Verify and organize biweekly payroll information to provide to our accountant
  • Calculate and file monthly beer tax and monthly sales commissions
  • Support with printing marketing materials when required (monthly flyers, event posters, etc)
  • Maintain up-to-date product availability on the website
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as needed
  • Enter daily orders and generate invoices from all ordering platforms (DDVP, Tangentia, TBS, Licensees)
  • Oversee and coordinate the packaging and shipping of all online orders
  • Coordinate all non-local deliveries via third-party delivery partner (TNG)
  • Manage inventory levels at TNG to ensure product is available for delivery
  • Schedule any TNG pick ups to replenish inventory levels
  • Support at off-premise events (tastings, beer festivals, etc.) or in the taproom as necessary
  • Perform any additional duties as required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with licensee accounts and customers in a professional manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks an asset

Candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada and a resident of Ontario.
