Sales Coordinator
Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator assists the Sales Manager in all aspects of prospecting, setting up appointments, administration, and tasks as assigned, in order to allow them to effectively manage their time and increase sales.

My Guest
- Researching account profiles and tracing leads for future follow-up.
- Preparation of contracts.
- Client correspondence as required.
- Ascertaining that all new definites are blocked correctly in Delphi and distributed correctly throughout the hotel.
- Processing of rate and favours
- Handling small group accounts as assigned by the sales manager.
- Organizing sales events as directed.
- Within a predefined scope act as the sales manager in their absence.
- Obtain group histories.
My Product
- Delphi input.
- Filing and faxing as required.
- Turning file over to CCSM.
- Processing purchase orders and cheque requisition.
- Attend sales meeting and record minutes as required.
My Colleague
- Assist with reception coverage.
- Conducting sites on behalf of sales manager.
My Chelsea
Keeping abreast of any changes to current definites to inform sales person or CCSM if
- action is needed.
- Special project as assigned.
- Complies with Hotel & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Management.
Academic and Working Qualifications
Working Experience
1-2 experience in hotel environment.
Knowledge
- Excellent computer skills required in various programs including Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Basic math skills required.

- Must be results oriented with ability to be flexible.
- Strong ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, multitasking and time-management.
- Present a Professional Image at all times.
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and supportive, team based approach towards the attainment of the hotel's goals.
Language
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is essential.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
