We work hybrid at Plenty of Fish - IRL in our downtown Vancouver office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and work remotely the remainder of the week!
We are looking for someone to be a part of our outstanding team working on flagship Match Group online dating & live-streaming products in Vancouver, Canada.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in driving growth through product & organic marketing strategies for consumer products.
This person will have a strong understanding of user needs for our existing and future audience, as well as a substantial perspective on what it takes to drive organic & viral growth.
This highly cross-functional role will report to the General Manager of Match Group Vancouver.
So, what will you do?
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new users organically through word-of-mouth & viral engagement loops
- Design and refine the user onboarding process to ensure new users understand and find value in the product quickly, and are motivated to share this experience
- Implement strategies to keep users coming back to the product. This may involve email marketing, push notifications, feature updates, and optimizations
- Use data to identify opportunities, drive decisions and continuously improve strategies. This involves setting up and analyzing experiments, tracking KPIs, and using insights to iterate on marketing tactics and product features
- Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and performance marketers to align growth initiatives with overall business objectives and user needs.
- Establish a feedback loop to gather user insights and feed this information back into product development and marketing strategies.
This can include conducting surveys, user interviews, and usability testing.
Be the local expert on product-driven growth marketing strategies & tactics for consumer products at different stages of maturity
You’ll be a match for this role if you have
- 5+ years of experience working in Product Marketing
- Experience working on portfolio products on a global scale
- Experience launching new products and / or categories from inception to product-market fit
- Proven ability to deliver measurable results
- Excellent leadership, influencing and communication skills, with an ability to express high-level concepts efficiently and optimally to a wide range of audiences
- The ability to lead cross-functional teams (especially Product, Marketing, and Creative teams) to produce innovative solutions
- Fluency with key business, product, and marketing analytics
- Strong analytical skills and can write queries for analysis
- Strong communication and project management abilities
$105,000 - $130,000 a year
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
This salary range is reflective of a position based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
