Job Summary

We areseeking a Downstream Process Engineer with experience in Utilitiesprocesses (GTGs STGs Desalinating water unit Raw water unit Powergeneration Boilers Cooling water Demineralized Water Boilerfeedwater Waste water treatment facilities and recovery Nitrogengeneration & storage flares etc) to join our GlobalManufacturing Excellence organization under the Downstream GlobalManufacturing Support Department (GMSD).

GMSDs technical team is amultidisciplinary team provides the required highquality technicalsupport to GM operating facilities (Refineries NGLF andpetrochemical plants) inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia &across the globe.

Your primary role will be to provide processengineering and operations expertise to monitor optimize and driveperformance improvement programs for Utilities including remote andfield technical advisory support and benchmarking of utilities.

Youwill drive the performance improvement programs which enhanceprocess safety optimize manufacturing cost and increase utilitiesreliability.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Review and monitor the performance of existing Utilitiesusing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimumoperability profitability reliability and processsafety.
• Issue quarterly utilities performancebenchmarking reports analyzing KPIs and providing recommendationsfor performance improvement.
• Monitor andsupport facilities in implementing recommendations and closingidentified gaps from benchmarking reports.
• Conduct benchmarking and best practices exchangeworkshops internally among Global Manufacturingfacilities.
• Provide ondemand remote and / orfield technical advisory support to Global Manufacturing facilitieson Utilities operation including process design troubleshootingstartup and shutdown activities and capacity test runs.

Issueservice reports for each support activity detailing the facilitysneeds actions taken results and lessons learned.

• Propose cost optimization or process improvementinitiatives in collaboration with Global Manufacturing facilityengineers through operational adjustments or designmodifications.
• Conduct internal assessments onUtilities using This Company engineering standard references andendorse any deviations or better standards applied by affiliatesfor facility management or This Company CentralEngineering.
• Act as the overall coordinatorfor cascading and driving Global Manufacturing and Corporateprograms for Utilities in operating facilities enabling executionand effective monitoring.
• Participate inBusiness Plan development and coordinate with stakeholders for anycapital investments on assigned Utilities supporting technoeconomicevaluations.
• Stay informed about Utilitiestechnology developments in the industry and endorse evaluations andapprovals to Central Engineering to facilitate fielddeployment.
• Support the arrangement andfacilitation of technical knowledge exchange workshops with majorequipment suppliers for Utilities and Global Manufacturingfacilities.
• Participate in hazard operability(HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as required byUtility operating facilities.

Requirements :

• Willingness to relocate to RasTanura Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelorsdegree in Chemical Engineering or related specialization isrequired.
• Minimum of 15 years of totalUtilities unit experience including both process engineering andoperations.
• At least 10 years of specificexperience in handling utilities.
• Exposure tomajor equipment suppliers / package units for Utilities ispreferred.
