The Senior SCADA & Automation Engineer is responsible for overseeing and enhancing our Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), programmable logic controller (PLC), and Distributed Control System (DCS) technologies.
Role and General Responsibilities
- Implement : BACS, PLC, and HMI systems, ensuring efficient operation and user-friendly interfaces.
- Maintain and troubleshoot : BACS network communications, databases, and industrial control systems.
- Collaborate : With IT, engineering, operations, and external partners to resolve system issues and implement new projects.
- Interface management on field with SCADA provider during the integration tests.
- Trouble shooting and technical resolution due to malfunctioning between BACS and SCADA.
- Other duties as assigned or required for the role
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Control Systems Engineering, Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering, Electro-Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Computer Science or related field.
- 15 / 20years of work experience related to SCADA, PLC, industrial electrical wiring, and control systems.
- Experience with network communications, Microsoft Windows Server, and database administration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
