Course Description :
Numerical and graphical data description; data collection and sampling; probability; sampling distributions; statistical inference;
hypothesis testing and estimation; simple and multiple regression analysis (extensive coverage). Learn how to analyze data and how to correctly interpret and explain results.
Use Excel to analyze a wide variety of data and replicate tables and figures in economics research papers.

Minimum qualifications :
- PhD in Economics
- Prior experience teaching this course (or a similar course) at the university level
- Ability and experience teaching large classes
Preferred qualifications :
Demonstrated excellence in teaching over four or more years
Description of duties :
- Preparation and delivery of lectures in this course
- Supervision of teaching assistant(s) assigned to course
- Preparation, supervision and grading of tests and examinations in accordance with University regulations
- Providing scheduled office hours for academic counseling of students
